What to Do While You Wait

  • 1.Call our office immediately at (715) 635-8282
  • 2.For a knocked-out tooth, keep it moist (in milk, saliva, or saline — not water)
  • 3.Apply a cold compress for swelling
  • 4.Take over-the-counter pain relief as needed
  • 5.Avoid hot or cold foods on the affected area

What to Do Outside of Business Hours

If you're an established patient of Dr. Carroll's, call our office at (715) 635-8282 and follow the prompt to leave a message for Dr. Carroll. He'll return your message and may be able to call in a prescription for you.

If you're not an established patient, Urgent Care or the ER is your best bet. Then call us first thing the next business day and we'll find a time to get you out of pain.
